Super nice! Fast service and very relaxing on the water.

Beautiful views and very good food.

Beautiful location, Restaurant is clean, Service is quick and attentive. BUT the quality of food you get for the price you pay is NOT equally as nice. Food is at best very average. Scallops in the captains platter were small and rubbery. Calamari was overcooked and chewy... the sauce should be on the side NOT drenched over crispy seafood. Overall we were disappointed because we were celebrating our anniversary. We wont be back. PS we planned for the Seafood Buffet that they have on FRIDAY nights- WHAT A JOKE. If you like Oysters or clams it would be GREAT.

Great outdoor setting. Nice selection of land and sea entrees. Nice selection of wine and mixed drinks. Waitress was nice and attentive. Went there on a Friday, they had a great piano player. Full house but were able to get right in and sat outside.

Nice quiet atmosphere and beautiful views of the harbor. We sat out on the deck and really enjoyed it. Food was excellent as was the service

Really, the oddest experience we've had in a restaurant. We'd never been, so made reservations. Showed up and were asked if we'd sit at a high top. No, this was going to be one of our last evenings out before leaving Florida. There were lots of tables to sit at, it turns out. The entire restaurant staff seemed to be very out of sorts and unorganized. They seemed to really struggle. And yet, after saying all of this, the food itself was terrific. So whatever was going wrong, I do hope they can sort out. They really have a good thing going.

I ordered the escargot, pesto chicken and key lime pie. My table of 5 was able to have the balcony to ourselves and had a beautiful view of the ocean. The service was amazing. We got lemonade refills free of charge which was a pleasant surprise. No complaints here, really amazing dinner at a beautiful location.

Absolutely lovely restaurant! Get a table with the view of water and you will be delighted! The food is very good too. I've been there twice and will go back again.

Amazing restaurant with fantastic service and food that you'll love. Don't forget there is free valet parking. Located in Beautiful Fisherman's Village. You can't go wrong.

Just had an AMAZING LUNCH here and it couldn’t have been any better.... Great great food.... Had the Lobster Grilled Cheese and the wife had Crab Cakes you won’t be disappointed.. Ask for Kaylin she is the bomb.com.... GREAT GREAT PLACE.... PS The Chef did an Amazing job also....

Food was great. Service was good. View of the river outstanding. Use the valet parking when you have a reservation....saves a lot of time driving around looking for parking.

Hard to accurately rate because we were there for lunch on Valentine's Day. Limited lunch selections, probably would try dinner next time. Lovely space, recently remodeled. Miss the salad bar but few restaurants offer that now. Had a little wait for beverages and main course but there were 2 extremely large parties and that had to impact on the kitchen. Loved sitting by window and looking out.

Love coming here with the family. Service is always great. Few times the dishes were missing components but the servers are great about getting it quickly. Love the appetizers! Kids always have a good time and servers always take the time to listen to their stories.

A few friends my wife and I enjoyed a wonderful lunch that was made up of freshly cooked to order seafood and delivered piping hot to our table. The service was excellent and the prices were very reasonable. For a nice quiet inviting atmosphere this is a must try. I recommend the parmisan encrusted baked grouper, it will not disappoint.

Fish and chips were good, but portions were pretty small. Fries were seasoned well and the white fish was good. Sat out on the deck and the views were absolutely great!

Friendly service, quite good considering the "touristy" location. The red & yellow beet salad is superb, meat dishes are above average for a seafood restaurant. Short but inexpensive wine list.Noise level is dynamic but not uncomfortable.

Great food. Love the staff make great suggestions. Thay also know the area well and can point out great late night hangouts most with in walking distance.

We went here for their Thanksgiving buffet and we were pleasantly surprised. We weren't expecting much to be honest as we were all missing a home made meal, but ended up really enjoying ourselves. The food was pretty good, their calamari salad and ham was amazing. The shrimp tasted fresh, and the food we had was all warm and plentiful. Our server was very friendly and we had a great view of the water at our table. We did go early around 3:30, and once we left at about 4:45, there was a huge line at the buffet and at the door. I definitely would recommend showing early. Overall we had a good experience and if we're away from home for the holidays, I would come back here for our Thanksgiving dinner.

Amazing food! Incredible views and the staff was super helpful and made sure we were all happy. Covid precautions in place, sanitizer at the door, staff was masked, and tables spaced apart. Highly recommended 👌

The Captains Table is always a nice place to eat. Great views of Charlotte Harbor, too. Bobby, our waiter, did a splendid job.

Very nice venue and service. Unfortunately my grouper was overcooked and dry. Note to restaurant's response that I should have corrected the issue at the time. When a complaint is made and rectified, the flow of the meal has been interupted. If my meal was replaced, then my dinner partner's enjoyment had been disrupted. We are then dining at separate times. Not charging for the meal or being offered dessert just feels awkward to me. We drove out of our way since out first experience was perfect.Thank you for your response.

Second trip, the first one was equally as good. We sat along the furthest wall allowing us a wonderful view of the ocean. Fabulous employee's, the food was delicious and spectacular view.

"lobster grilled cheese" I wouldn't consider it a grilled cheese as it was just a thin slice of cheese amongst the other things on the sandwich, but it did have some good flavor. I liked the atmosphere and our waitress was really nice. I would like to go again to try something else. I had a nice experience I just wasn't blown away for it to be 15 dollar sandwich worthy. My grandma on the other hand absolutely loved hers and has returned multiple times for it.

The gator and shark bites were good! Happy to have that food experience. We got the Malibu buckets which were super tasty as well. wait time was a bit much but we did go when they were busy. Relaxing to look over the water.

We may have just hit a bad night, but we had a terrible experience and will not be going back. The service was poor - had to ask for the bread and our appetizer to be delivered, our water was never refilled and we were not asked if we would like another glass of wine nor whether we wanted dessert. Our grilled seafood was overcooked and very chewy. My wife specifically asked whether the sauce on the lobster ravioli could be light but it came drenched in a very heavy sauce. Everything for us was underwhelming.

Beautiful location. Service was absolutely terrible. Took forever for someone to notice we were waiting to be seated. Once seated had to beg someone to clean the bird poop from the table. Took another forever for someone to take our order. Food came out quick, but it wasn't the quality I expected.for the price I paid. Very disappointed.

I've been doing this place for about 25 years and never has the quality of their shrimp basket changed. Succulent, not too heavily breaded and the price is the same. And a good waitstaff.

When for lunch. Had fried conch with fries. And yuengling to chase down. Courteous, friendly and fast with meal.

Went to the Captains Table after a sunset cruise, the food was great. I had ordered the beat salad and it was amazing. The other five guests had NY strip steak and tasted amazing as well.

We drove down from Tampa to have lunch with a friend and had a reservation for 12:30. We got in easily and the drink order was taken in a reasonable amount of time. However, after 40 minutes of no one coming by the table, one of our party had to go in and ask if we could get our food order taken. The food came out in a reasonable amount of time, although we were missing the refills we had asked for. The food was great but then we had to go in and ask to get our check and a box an hour after we had finished. The food and atmosphere were wonderful but we were all a bit put off by having to go ask to get someone to come to our table and have lunch take 3 and a half hours because we were waiting to see if a server was going to come to the table.

They have changed things around in the and it looks really nice. They also have valet service now for your vehicle. The drinks and apps came out quick and the food was great. You can't beat the view. And our server was absolutely the best... His name was Bobby and if you go ask for him he was on top of everything.

The staff was very rude the manager had no personality. Food after we were waited on was good. I doubt we will be back. Think twice before you go. You’ll never be waited on. I feel if they had better bartenders and a better manager they would have a change. We were there last night for dinner after waiting for well over hour for service. Very unprofessional staff rude. Still upset how we were treated

My wife and I, along with another couple were there for dinner on December 8th, celebrating our anniversary. It was a perfect evening to enjoy the sunset and we ate outside.The service was very good, as was the food. I had the plate with shrimp, scallops and grouper, wife had sea bass. Our friends had similar dishes, and everybody was quite happy. I like the valet parking, too. We’ve been here several times before, but always for the buffet. This was our first time ordering from the menu and we were not disappointed. Highly recommended!

Though we live in the Tampa Bay area, we make the trip to Fisherman's Village in Punta Gorda as often as possible just to eat at The Captain's Table. One of our favorite Restaurants in all of Florida. The view of Charlotte Harbor is amazing. Great food and exceptional service, too!
